Getting Started

The ILO’s activity-based, peer learning programmes are easy to deliver and highly cost-efficient. This enables interventions that are scalable and can reach vulnerable and often hard-to-reach beneficiaries in resource or capacity constrained situations. The programmes are highly inclusive as they recognize that everyone has experiences, knowledge and insights relevant to share.

01 Select a training programme

Looking to start your own co-operative, entrepreneurial venture or encourage more creative, collaborative or productive practices across your organization? Take a short test to find the right programme for you.

02 Download modules and supporting materials

Time to narrow down your search and select the specific modules and topics you’d like to deliver. Our open-source materials allows you to tailor your own programme with activities and examples for your specific audience. Each programme also has an array of supporting materials available to help you achieve your ultimate goal.

03 Set up your own training programme

It is almost time for implementation. Read the guidance provided in the available support materials and training manuals on how to organize your programme. Hold a test session with peers and ask for feedback. Manage the logistics. Need more help? Reach out to us if you have any questions.

04 Roll-out your programme

You are now ready to roll-out your training programme. Remember, ‘facilitation’ means the process of making something possible or easier. Create a safe place for learning. Ensure that your programme becomes a driver of change. Work with partners to maximize impact. We would love to hear about your experience!
